Terms of Service

We're a small team in beta, not a law firm. These terms are a good-faith, plain-language description of the product and its limits. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Use your own judgment, especially around meeting anyone in person.

What BeSettled is

BeSettled is a matchmaking service. You have a conversation with an AI intake specialist, we generate a written Portrait reflecting who you are in relationships, and — when the matching program is active — we aim to introduce you to one thoughtful match a month. During the current beta, one match a month is the goal, not a guarantee: matching depends on having a real pool of people to match against, and that pool is still being built.

Who can use this

You must be at least 18 years old to use BeSettled. By starting an interview, you're confirming that you are.

Beta pricing

BeSettled's standard signup fee is $150, flat, covering one match a month. During the current beta period, this fee is waived. If and when that changes, it won't apply retroactively to anyone already using the product without clear notice first.

Your account and your data

You can delete your interview and Portrait at any time — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does and doesn't remove. We can also suspend or remove access for anyone using the product in bad faith (harassment, impersonation, attempting to abuse or overload the service, or similar).

No guarantee, and real-world risk

We do our best to make thoughtful, well-reasoned matches, but we can't guarantee compatibility, chemistry, or outcome — matching people is inherently uncertain, AI-assisted or not. If you're introduced to a match and choose to meet them, that meeting and any relationship that follows is between you and that person. BeSettled is not responsible for what happens during or after an introduction, and you agree to use ordinary, sensible judgment and caution when meeting anyone new, including a match from this service.

Acceptable use

By using BeSettled, you agree not to:

Provide false information about your age, identity, or intentions
Use the service to harass, harm, or deceive another person
Attempt to access another person's interview, Portrait, or data
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service

Changes to the service

This is an early-stage, beta product. Features, pricing, and these terms may change as we learn what actually works. We'll do our best to communicate meaningful changes clearly rather than silently.
